SSC GD Constable New Syllabus and Pattern 2023 The Staff Selection Commission will conduct an open competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR) as per the Recruitment Scheme formulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and as per the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Ministry of Home Affairs and the Staff Selection Commission. The recruitment process will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Medical Examination and Document Verification.

Computer Based Examination(CBT)
This is the first step to get job All candidates whose online applications are accepted are called to appear in the CBT . Online Exam will be held in English and Hindi language. will have four sections of the following subjects. 1)General Intelligence and Reasoning, 2)General Knowledge and General Awareness, 3)Elementary Mathematics, 4)English/Hindi.
SSC GD Syllabus and Pattern of CBT:
The Computer based examination will consist of one objective type paper containing 80 questions carrying 2 marks each, with the following composition:

- The test carries 80 objective-type questions of 160 marks.
- Each question will carry 2 mark.
- There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
- SSC has also fixed cut-off of marks for the CBT.
