Educational Qualification
- The candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/ University.
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age Limit – 18 years
- Maximum Age Limit – 23 years
- 18-23 years as on 01-01-2024.
- Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02-01-2001 and later than 01-01-2006 in normal course.

Computer Based Examination(CBT)
This is the first step to get job All candidates whose online applications are accepted are called to appear in the CBT . Online Exam will be held in English and Hindi language. will have four sections of the following subjects.
- General Intelligence and Reasoning
- General Knowledge and General Awareness
- Elementary Mathematics
- English/Hindi.
SSC GD Syllabus and Pattern of CBT:
The Computer based examination will consist of one objective type paper containing 80 questions carrying 2 marks each, with the following composition:

- All questions will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type. The computer based examination will be conducted in English, Hindi and in 13 Regional languages viz.
