Educational Qualification
Constable Driver
- Matric or equivalent from a recognized Board.
- Should possess Heavy Transport Vehicle Driving License.
Constable Mechanic Motor Vehicle
- Matriculate or 10th Class pass (10+2 system) from a recognized board or equivalent.
- Two years ITI Certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle. And one year practical experience in the field of concerned trade. OR
- National/ State apprenticeship certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle trade of three year duration. And one year practical experience in the field of concerned Trade.
For all other Tradesmen
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board.
- Must be proficient and worked in respective trades.
Pioneer Wing (CT(Mason/ Plumber/ Electrician)
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board.
- One year experience in respective trades like Masonary / Plumbing / Electrician.
- Preference will be given to those having certificate of trade from recognized Industrial Training Institute.

- Online Written Exam (CBT)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standards Test (PST)

CRPF Syllabus and Pattern of CBT:
The first step in the selection process is the written test. The written test is an objective type paper of 100 marks, consisting of questions on General Awareness/Knowledge, Elementary Mathematics, Analytical Aptitude and Basic Knowledge in English/Hindi.

CRPF Constable Physical Test (PST And PET)
CRPF Constable Trade Test
Candidates who have cleared PST and PET will have to appear for the trade exam. This test is designed to assess the technical knowledge of the candidate in their respective trade like Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrician etc.
CRPF Constable Document Verification
Candidates will be shortlisted for Document Verification from the pool of candidates who qualify in CBT, PST/PET and Trade test. The candidates are advised to carry original documents along with self attested photocopies of the same with them at the time of reporting at Recruitment Centre.
