964359 Posts are vacant in central government 9,64,359 Posts are vacant in central government Union Personnel Affairs and Training Minister Jitendra Singh said that 9,64,359 posts are vacant in central government ministries and departments. He replied to a written question in the Rajya Sabha on July 20. Total of 39,77,509 posts for all departments in the center (Central Gvt Jobs) Granted. Presently 30,13,150 people are working. 30,606 Group-A, 18,011 Group-B, 93,803 Group-B non-gazetted posts, and 8,21,939 Group-C posts are vacant. He said that 3,09,074 posts are vacant in the railway, 2,32,134 in the defense sector, and 1,20,933 in the home department. He said that 4.63 lakh vacancies have been filled in five years. It has been explained that all the departments have been ordered to fill up the job vacancies on time.

దేశంలో కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ విభాగాల్లో 9,64,359 పోస్టులు ఖాళీగా ఉన్నట్లు కేంద్రమంత్రి జితేంద్రసింగ్ రాజ్యసభలో తెలిపారు. 30,606 గ్రూప్-A, 18,011 గ్రూప్-B, 93,803 గ్రూప్-B నాన్ గెజిటెడ్ పోస్టులు, 8,21,939 గ్రూప్-C పోస్టులు ఖాళీగా ఉన్నట్లు చెప్పారు. అత్యధికంగా రైల్వేలో 3,09,074, రక్షణ రంగంలో 2,32,134, హోంశాఖలో 1,20,933 పోస్టులు ఖాళీగా ఉన్నాయని, వీటిని భర్తీ చేయాలని అన్ని శాఖలను ఆదేశించామన్నారు.
